Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test 2012:- Bharathiar University, Coimbatore invites application to conducts the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test for the recruitment of lecturers in Tamil Nadu & Union Territory of Puducherry universities and colleges. All eligible aspirants who have required qualification may apply online through www.b-u.ac.in latest on 31st August 2012. Aspirants may also check here other examination application forms.


Educational qualification – Applicants those who are appeared or pursing post graduate degree from any recognized university may apply for SET 2012. Aspirants in PG degree must required minimum 55% (50% for SC/ ST/ PC/ VC category) marks without grace.

Age Limitation – There are no upper age limitation.

Examination Fee – Rs. 1000 for general candidates, Rs. 750 for OBC candidates and Rs. 250 for SC/ ST/ Physically Challenged/ Visually Challenged candidates. The application fee will be paid by the bank challan. Applicants must be downloading the application fee challan form at www.b-u.ac.in/set2012.

Last date for online application – 31.08.2012
Last date for receipt of application form – 07.09.2012
Examination date – 07.10.2012

There are three papers. First & Second paper will be 100 marks and third paper 150 marks. Paper first will be starts from 9:30 – 10:45 AM, Second 10:45 – 12:00 noon and third 1:30 – 4:00 PM.  

How to apply – Eligible and interested aspirants may apply online through www.b-u.ac.in/set2012 on or before 31st August 2012. After successfully applying online aspirant should take online application two copies print out, one copy of attendance slip, one copy of admission card, fee challan and send to it along with aspirants all relevant documents and certificates photocopies to the "THE SECRETARY, SET2012, BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY, COIMBATORE - 641046".
