On June 27 the hosted domains link will be totally removed from Adsense account.Publishers who are using Adsense for Hosted domains may already have received an email with subject line “Retiring Adsense for Domains in your Account”. The email clearly mention when the particular service will be terminated.
Ever since Google launched the Adsense for hosted domains many domain owners started using the services and did make some money from their idle domains. Some experts believed it was a bad move by Google. Adsense revolves around quality content and it did not make sense populating ads on a domain that had no content, in fact how could a domain that has no content qualify for quality content – the basis on which AdSense works. The growing dissatisfaction among advertisers with regards to Ads on Hosted domains has finally made Google to call off this service. In case you are using AdSense on your idle domain, it is time you develop the domain, get some quality content or switch to any domain parking provider.
