Primary Job Responsibilities

Contributes to the design and development of one or more product features or sub-systems (example: may be one of three engineers working on a My eBay visual refresh or Web Payments Standard (WPS) boarding flow).
Spends most of the time developing code. Code is well-commented and typically improves after one or more code reviews.
Produces code that is sufficiently supported by unit tests.
Still learning to remove unnecessary complication or abstraction. Code typically does not have a long lifetime.
- Interfaces with other functional teams on aspects of the feature or sub-system.
- Most interaction is with direct manager.
- Typically not visible outside of their team.

Job Requirements

- Has a basic understanding of technical concepts required for specialized field.
- Still learning to estimate software schedules, and to deliver on time without quality issues.
- Still learning to work effectively as part of a team.
